How it worksTopical hair products fail for a simple reason: the outer layer of your scalp is designed to keep things out. Most of what you apply never reaches the follicle.This treatment solves that in three steps.1. Acoustic wave delivery Low-frequency sound waves create microscopic, temporary channels through the scalp's outer barrier. Nothing is cut and nothing is injected — the barrier simply becomes briefly permeable, then closes on its own.2. What to expectEach session takes approximately 20 to 30 minutes.You will remain seated and comfortable throughout. After your initial course: most patients continue with a maintenance session approximately every six months to sustain their results. Dr. Kato will recommend a maintenance schedule based on how your hair responds to the first three treatments.
A note on expectations: this treatment supports and revitalizes existing follicles. It cannot regrow hair in areas where follicles are no longer active. Individual results vary depending on the degree of thinning, hormonal status, and consistency with the treatment schedule.
